Oversee all database administration job and data migration, implementation and maintenance of various database systems;
Administer data mining, analysis and analytical problem solving skills using quantitative approaches such as machine learning methods for business decision support;
Consult clients to streamline their process on establishing methodologies for effective data modelling, data quality assurance and database design;
Research and develop software tools to automate statistical computation to estimate project costs, schedule projects and perform project risk analysis;
Review and test the data to ensure accuracy and validity of the data prior to uploading to the data warehouse;
Work with Technical Operations to troubleshoot complex database issues and find root cause related to the entire environment including OS, storage and servers;
Oversee preparation of document user guides and training material for software/databases implementation, and lead the training for implementation and maintenance.
Requires master’s in computer science;
One-year experience as database administrator or database engineer with utility, healthcare, manufacturing or construction industries data;
Experience to include use of Oracle’s OBIEE, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SQL Plus, PL/SQL, R programming for statistical analysis; Shell Scripting, Java;
Agile-Scrum as software development life cycle.
