Systems Management Consultant

  • Integrate and analyze large sets of diverse data (e.g. cost, schedule, operations, etc.) from construction and civil engineering projects to propose and implement solutions for clients operating in a wide range of industries (e.g. energy, health, construction); perform statistical analysis, including econometric analysis, to analyze and forecast data trends of construction project operations
  • Modify management applications and systems
  • Apply lean and continuous improvement tools to make processes more efficient
  • Develop project life cycle management processes
  • Simulating construction operations under probabilistic conditions using specialized computer software and developing visualizations of operations to analyze and recommend improvements; use decision trees and utility theory to perform risk management and recommend decisions to clients when uncertainty is high
  • Develop, analyze and track construction and civil engineering projects using specialized project management software to ensure timely completion according to project objectives
  • Use Primavera, Microsoft Project, EZstrobe/Stroboscope, and programming in Visual Basic in performing job
  • Meet with clients on a regular basis to review project progress, modify software systems, eliminate obstacles and mitigate risks
  • Seek and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients by preparing technical proposals that cater to specific client needs, perform presentations and respond to critique.

 

  • Travel up to 80% of time throughout N. America to undetermined clients for presentations

Requires: Masters in Construction Engineering & Management; related; two years’ experience in any engineering discipline.
